About The Position

Brock & Company is seeking a Grill Cook for its corporate dining operation. The role prepares fresh menu items, daily specials, and other hot foods for breakfast and lunch in a fast-paced kitchen. The cook uses a grill or flat top and a range of other kitchen equipment, while supporting daily menu preparation, customer service, food safety, and delivery handling. The position may also perform other duties as determined by the supervisor. The schedule is Monday through Friday, and the position is full-time and benefits eligible. Pay is $17.50 per hour. Uniforms and meals are provided.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a fast-paced corporate dining environment or similar venue.
• Proven experience using a grill or flat top to prepare menu items, including daily specials for breakfast and lunch.
• Knowledge of operating a fryer, pizza oven, steamer, soup kettle, and convection oven.
• Knowledge of the assembly, operation, and disassembly of meat and cheese slicers, blenders, mixers, and processors.
• Ability to comprehend verbal and written food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions, and techniques.
• Ability to batch cook and operate a register.
• Ability to follow health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene.
• Positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items, daily specials, and hot foods for breakfast and lunch.
• Use a grill or flat top to execute menu items.
• Operate kitchen equipment including a fryer, pizza oven, steamer, soup kettle, and convection oven.
• Assemble, operate, and disassemble meat and cheese slicers, blenders, mixers, and processors.
• Read and follow recipes, production orders, cooking instructions, and techniques to prepare daily menus.
• Batch cook, operate a register, and provide excellent customer service.
• Follow health and safety regulations for equipment use and personal hygiene.
• Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate, and stow deliveries.
• Perform other duties as determined by the supervisor.
• Provide courteous and friendly customer service.
