About The Position

The Grill Bartender prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The role includes setting up and stocking the bar, preparing garnishes and drink ingredients, processing guest orders and payments, maintaining product quality and attractive displays, and keeping the work area clean and organized. The bartender must follow applicable liquor regulations, check identification, and respond appropriately to guest inebriation.

Responsibilities

Follow state, federal, and company liquor regulations, including rules for serving minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bars and requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
Maintain stock and prepare, cure, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Greet guests courteously and in a friendly manner.
Take or process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and prudent portion control.
Check guests at the bar for proper identification.
Recognize and respond to guest inebriation as trained, and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
Receive cash, make change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly completed.
Lock up and store beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops; secure the bank.
Perform general cleaning to meet health and safety standards and keep the work area clean and organized.
Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other duties as assigned.
