About The Position
Marin Country Club in Novato, California, is hiring a part-time Greeter/Host/Hostess for its fast-paced hospitality-focused property. The role welcomes and assists guests, supports dining-room operations, and helps maintain service standards. Compensation is $22.00–$25.00 per hour. The position is with Troon Privé, Troon’s private club division, which partners with private clubs to provide hospitality and personalized service. Associates are supported in developing their talents and growing their careers.

Responsibilities
- Welcome each guest with a friendly greeting and escort guests to their assigned tables.
- Manage the dining-room flow by seating guests according to station rotation, maintaining guest lists, and following and enforcing check-issue procedures.
- Remain knowledgeable about menu items, prices, and general service procedures.
- Maintain standards of appearance and cleanliness in service areas.
- Remain visible on the dining-room floor and accessible to guests, staff, and management.
- Check tables before service each day to ensure they are properly set.
- Assist with side work and support service staff by bussing tables and taking cocktail orders.
- Communicate guests’ requests and concerns to the department manager.
