Golf Course Maintenance Technician-No 9-Seasonal

About The Position
The primary purpose of this seasonal position is to perform day-to-day operations to maintain golf courses. Work includes preparing the course for play, maintaining turf and course amenities, and performing physical labor to keep the course playable and attractive. The role requires awareness of the golf environment, including the ability to notice and react to errant golf balls and follow proper golf etiquette.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and at least one month of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to perform the described physical demands, including regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to see and react to surroundings, including errant golf balls, and follow proper golf etiquette.
Responsibilities
- Set up tee marker positions and hole locations.
- Remove litter and waste, maintain ball washers, and care for course amenities.
- Mow and groom the course to maintain playability and a high-quality appearance.
- Walk and operate riding equipment.
- Hand-water turf, manually move hoses, and recognize wilt conditions.
- Perform hand labor, including raking, shoveling, pushing, and divot repair.
