About The Position

The Golf Course Maintenance Groundskeeper maintains the golf course and adjacent property. Duties include mowing grass on tee boxes, fairways, roughs, fringes, and greens; sodding; trimming; and maintaining greens, fairways, cart paths, and other adjacent golf course property. The role involves using a variety of powered and non-powered equipment and hand tools, including mowers, rollers, bunker rakes, carts, blowers, trimmers, edgers, a sod-cutting machine, and golf utility vehicles.

The position requires working in extreme weather conditions and on holidays and weekends. Occasional overtime may be required during golf season. Eligible employees may receive paid time off, insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan after fulfilling term-of-service requirements. Sign-on bonuses are offered after six months of service, with amounts based on weekly hours worked.

Requirements

• Landscaping experience.
• Working knowledge of various lawn and ground equipment.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Attention to detail.
• Some knowledge of the game of golf.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Mow grass on tee boxes, fairways, roughs, fringes, and greens.
• Sod and trim as needed.
• Mow grass and trim weeds and hedges using mowers, weed trimmers, and other tools.
• Maintain greens, fairways, cart paths, and adjacent golf course property.
• Use golf course maintenance equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools.
