About The Position

The GMP Supervisor coordinates activities within assigned areas of the GMP program, including the work of company employees and temporary employees engaged in the program. The supervisor inspects areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation requirements, OSHA regulations, and site-specific standard operating procedures. The schedule may vary as needed for the success of business operations, and some travel may be required.

Requirements

Ability to perform the essential duties safely and satisfactorily.
Familiarity with supervisor responsibilities.
May be required to have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, professional certifications, and progressively responsible experience leading facilities, operations, janitorial, manufacturing, or service teams will also be considered.

Responsibilities

Perform the duties of employees within the assigned program.
Train, supervise, and instruct employees on tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommend training, and issue discipline.
Prepare written reports, such as pass-down reports and weekly or monthly updates.
Conduct quality, service, and safety inspections.
Track equipment inventory and schedule maintenance and repairs.
Track supplies inventory.
Monitor employees' proper use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety compliance.
Report employee personnel and customer issues to the manager.
Immediately correct at-risk behavior and report it to the manager.
Recommend corrective actions for areas needing improvement.
Maintain records, including training, inspections, attendance, and metric data.
Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, planning and directing work, performance evaluations, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints and problems.
Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
