About The Position

This position manages people and leads and manages a team that supports all Global Transportation requirements based on exporting and importing WWT materials. Acts as Subject Matter Expert for all modes of transport, including but not limited to Service, Mode, Incoterms and Compliance regulations by providing operational support and expertise to the team. The work is accomplished with limited direction, and the individual determines and develops their approach to solutions. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 years' progressive experience in a related field required
4-6 plus years' experience with import/export trade compliance and logistics.
5 years Supervisory experience.
Expert knowledge of Supply Chain & Logistics terminology and lingo.
Knowledge of and experience with regional customs regulations on exports, import experience.
Knowledge of and experience with import/export documents and regulations supporting global business
Must be able to communicate effectively with different layers of the organization.
Experience with Global Trade Management systems. (Oracle GTM, Amber Road, etc.)
Proficient in web-based applications and MS Office
Qualified candidates must be interested in working within fast-paced, changing environment.
Must possess an elevated level of integrity and professionalism, including in dealing with complex and sensitive matters

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree Logistics Management preferred
US Trade regulations experience is a plus.
Experience and understanding of VAT regulations a plus
Experience and knowledge of other global import/export regulations a plus.
Broker's License is a plus.
