About The Position

eDist | A.I. Smarter World, Inc. is seeking a Global Director of Sales to build and lead the sales organization responsible for expanding its next-generation platform as a service (PaaS) into new markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will recruit and develop a team, strengthen existing sales capabilities, and establish a repeatable model for profitable growth across channel development, enterprise opportunities, services revenue, and international expansion. The role has influence over team structure, investment priorities, market entry, and performance measurement. The Director will shape and execute the PaaS go-to-market plan, grow a productive partner ecosystem, lead sales performance throughout the customer lifecycle, and advance international expansion. The position works closely with Marketing, Product, executive Business Development, RevOps, Customer Success, Professional Services, Finance, the CEO, and Controller. It also involves applying AI and agentic workflows to improve sales execution while maintaining appropriate human oversight and data controls, and building management and reporting discipline for future pre-IPO readiness. The position is onsite at eDist’s Bonita Springs, Florida headquarters. Candidates should be local or willing to relocate. Occasional travel to company locations, partners, and industry events is required, including international travel as expansion warrants. The base salary is $150,000–$250,000 depending on experience, with a target incentive of 15–20% or more tied to revenue attainment, forecast accuracy, CRM discipline, and agreed RevOps KPIs.

Requirements

  • At least eight years of sales leadership experience, with measurable success hiring, coaching, and scaling teams.
  • Success leading both direct and partner sales, setting territory and account strategies, and translating complex offerings into customer value.
  • Strong forecasting, data analysis, incentive design, and pipeline-management skills.
  • Understanding of recurring revenue, retention, gross margin, and the work required to sustain customer relationships.
  • Deep CRM and RevOps proficiency.
  • Practical experience using AI and agentic automation to improve sales execution.
  • Clear communication, direct feedback, strong coaching, and ability to work across Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, Professional Services, Finance, and executive Business Development.
  • English business fluency is required.
  • Ability to work onsite at the Bonita Springs headquarters; candidates should be based locally or willing to relocate.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to company locations, partners, and industry events, including internationally as expansion warrants.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in SaaS, subscription platforms, technology, or B2B distribution; strong transferable experience is welcome.
  • HubSpot proficiency is strongly preferred.
  • Cross-border growth, market-entry, or international channel experience.
  • Dutch, French, German, or Spanish language skills.
  • Microsoft, Nuance, healthcare technology, or EHR ecosystem experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design the sales organization and phased hiring plan with the CEO.
  • Recruit and coach leaders and contributors across enterprise sales, partner development, professional and technical services sales, and the order desk.
  • Develop existing talent, establish roles and quotas, and create onboarding, certification, and career-development paths.
  • Own the platform sales go-to-market plan and define priority buyers, partner segments, territories, and sales plays with Marketing, Product, and executive Business Development.
  • Expand the business from its healthcare and Dragon foundation into complementary software, services, hardware, and new verticals, converting vendor and platform opportunities into profitable recurring business.
  • Recruit and activate cloud solution providers, VARs, corporate resellers, and referral partners, and create repeatable paths to first sale and sustained production.
  • Establish account ownership, deal registration, attribution, and rules of engagement across partner and direct channels.
  • Help partners grow through training, marketing, and appropriately scoped white-label services.
  • Strengthen the business across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, and develop commercial plans for intended UK and European expansion.
  • Prioritize countries based on demand, partner economics, competition, and delivery capacity; coordinate market entry with leadership and teams responsible for vendor authorization, contracts, privacy, tax, localization, and support readiness.
  • Lead Sales accountability from qualification through close and coordinate with Customer Success and Professional Services on handoffs, adoption, renewals, and expansion.
  • Grow Dragon Copilot through qualified new opportunities and appropriate DMO and DAX migrations.
  • Build services attachment into discovery and proposals with clear scope and delivery commitments while protecting margin, customer continuity, and partner trust.
  • Partner with RevOps to govern HubSpot stages, lead routing, response standards, data quality, and dashboards.
  • Run pipeline reviews, coaching sessions, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Own forecasting with the CEO and Controller, targeting variance below 10% using agreed definitions.
  • Develop incentive plans and track recurring revenue, gross profit, partner productivity, conversion, retention, and sales capacity.
  • Distinguish new business from migrated revenue and transaction volume from recognized revenue.
  • Apply AI and agentic workflows to research, qualification, follow-up, coaching, and CRM administration with appropriate human oversight and data controls, and measure resulting gains.
  • Model eDist’s “Thrill and Wow” client experience through responsiveness, thoughtful follow-through, and quick resolution of friction.
  • Build reporting and management discipline needed for future pre-IPO readiness.
  • In the first 90 days, assess the team and commercial baseline, agree targets with the CEO, begin phased hiring and market-entry planning, launch initial sales plays, establish dependable forecasting, and define sales-to-delivery handoffs.
  • Over the first year, demonstrate productive new hires, more active selling partners, stronger recurring revenue and gross profit, improved conversion and retention, and progress on international readiness milestones while protecting customer experience and forecast reliability.
