About The Position

The Gift Shop Associate supports daily retail operations at Buffalo Trace, assisting visitors with questions and purchases and helping maintain an organized, visually appealing shop. The role provides friendly, professional customer service, processes transactions, stocks merchandise, and supports VIP guest visits and special events to contribute to a memorable visitor experience. This is a part-time position working 24–30 hours per week, including evenings, weekdays, and at least two weekends per month.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Availability to work 24–30 hours per week, including evenings, weekdays, and at least two weekends per month.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional customer service to visitors and internal guests.
• Process retail transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Stock merchandise and maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays and shop areas.
• Assist with visitor inquiries, recommendations, and overall guest experience support.
• Support VIP guest visits and special events as needed.
