About The Position

This role is for a Generator Technician within the Power & Construction Equipment Division. The technician will be responsible for various aspects of generator maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer service, representing the company positively and working both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license; able to meet and maintain insurance criteria for insurability
• DOT Medical Card
• 21+ years of age
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Able to comprehend and troubleshoot from wiring schematics
• Knowledge of A/C D/C circuits and electrical principles
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work well unsupervised; able to work independently
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required
• Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry
• Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens

Nice To Haves

• Technical degree or certifications
• Generator experience preferred
• Military, EGSA, or factory certification highly desirable
