About The Position
The General Surgery Nurse Practitioner provides overnight Trauma and Acute Care Surgery coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. in Loveland, Colorado. The role includes caring for trauma and emergency general surgery patients in inpatient settings, supporting trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management, and working autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Board certification through ANCC or AANP.
- Colorado license.
- Active DEA registration.
- Clean record/NPDB.
- BLS certification.
- Two years of experience in General Surgery.
- No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
- Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and develop treatment plans.
- Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings.
- Support trauma surgeons with procedures and ongoing patient management.
- Work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
