About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position at a Hide/Tannery facility. Team members may work in any department and are expected to maintain a safe work environment while following Tyson policies and procedures. The role may involve trimming hides with a knife and hook, operating large pieces of equipment, or working with pork skins. Departments may use staggered start and end times, which can vary daily. The facility operates up to six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Candidates must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Former Tyson employees are subject to a 180-day rehire waiting period and a three-time rehire limit. Hourly applicants must complete a task after submitting an application to provide additional information for consideration.

Requirements

Ability to routinely push, pull, lift, and carry at least 75 pounds or more if required.
Ability to work in extreme hot, cold (40°F to 90°F), and wet environments.
Ability to use hands and arms above shoulder level and stand for 8–10 hours per day.
Willingness and ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
