About The Position

This position is at the Hides/Tannery facility and involves processing beef hides and pork skins. The work takes place in extreme hot, cold, and wet conditions and may involve using a knife and hook to trim hides or operating large pieces of equipment. Candidates must be able to perform the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation, including routinely pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying at least 80 pounds. Applicants must be willing to work any shift; the facility operates six days a week, Monday through Saturday.

Job offers are contingent on proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and passing a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment. Certain roles may also require a background check. Former Tyson employees are subject to a 180-day rehire waiting period and a three-time rehire limit, effective January 2, 2025. Relocation assistance is not available.
