About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position in the Hides/Tannery facility. Team members may be assigned to any department and are expected to maintain a safe work environment while following Tyson policies and procedures. Work may involve using a knife and hook to trim hides, operating large equipment, or working with pork skins. Departments may have staggered start and end times, and some areas vary their schedules daily. The facility operates up to six days per week, Monday through Saturday. Candidates must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. These include routinely pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying at least 75 pounds; working in hot, cold (40 to 90 degrees), and wet environments; using hands and arms above shoulder level; and standing for 8 to 10 hours per day.
