About The Position
This position works at the Hides/Tannery facility processing beef hides and pork skins. The work involves routinely pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying at least 80 pounds in an extreme hot, cold, and wet environment. The role may involve using a knife and hook to trim hides or operating large pieces of equipment. Candidates must be willing to work any shift; the facility operates six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Employment offers are contingent on providing proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and passing a urinalysis as part of the post-offer health assessment. Some roles may also require a background check. Hourly applicants must complete an additional task after submitting an application. Candidates who previously worked for Tyson are subject to a 180-day rehire waiting period and a three-time rehire limit. Relocation assistance is not available.
