About The Position
This position processes beef hides and pork skins at the Hides/Tannery facility. The work may involve using a knife and hook to trim hides or operating large pieces of equipment. The role requires working in extreme hot, cold, and wet conditions and being able to routinely push, pull, lift, and carry at least 80 pounds. Candidates must be willing to work any shift. The facility operates six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Job offers are contingent on proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and passing a urinalysis screening as part of the post-offer health assessment. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson are subject to a 180-day rehire waiting period and a three-times rehire limit. The successful candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
