About The Position

This is an entry-level, non-skilled general labor position at Chick N Quick in Rogers, Arkansas. The role is responsible for general production work while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Duties may vary by assignment, and other duties may be assigned by the supervisor. Work is on second shift, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday work. Scheduled areas have different start and end times, and work may continue until production ends: Raw End, 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.; RTE, 2:45 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; and Stack Off, 3:00–3:15 p.m. start through 11:30 p.m. The position pays $17.15 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. Working conditions may include wet floors, aromatic spices, high noise levels, and temperatures ranging from -10 to 75 degrees depending on the assigned area. Appropriate foot, eye, and ear protection is required; hearing protection is provided. The work may involve prolonged standing or walking on cement floors, repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements, reaching, pushing and pulling, lifting above shoulder level, bending, stooping, and twisting. The successful candidate must be able to perform the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. Applicants must provide a government identification number so Tyson can verify prior employment history. The facility accepts rehires after 365 days only if the applicant has worked for Tyson no more than twice previously; Tyson may require a longer waiting period or decline rehire depending on the reason for dismissal. Requirements

Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to bend and lift various weights; occasionally lift over 80 pounds and regularly lift over 40 pounds.
Must have good eye-hand coordination.
Must be able to reach and push or pull as needed.
Must adapt to environmental conditions including heat, cold, high humidity, wet floors, aromatic spices, and extremely high noise levels.
Must tolerate prolonged standing or walking on cement floors and, for some jobs, repetitive arm, wrist, and hand movements; reaching or lifting above shoulder level; bending, stooping, and twisting.
