About The Position

Production experience is not required. This general production position performs packer job functions, inspects products for quality, and packages products according to established work instructions. The role is based at EFP’s manufacturing plant in Casa Grande, Arizona. Available shifts are first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Basic math skills, including counting, adding, and subtracting.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble parts.
• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to pull up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and stoop frequently.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished parts from machines.
• Maintain and follow machinery operating procedures.
• Inspect parts for quality, including fill, fusion, and post-expansion.
• Identify the proper packaging container and ensure it is properly labeled.
• Maintain accurate counts per container.
• Complete plant cleanup operations.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Participate in required 5S/PPS activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
