About The Position

The Production Team Leader provides leadership and direction to team members in the Production department and serves as the primary point of contact for issues involving materials, quality, and production runs. The role verifies machine setup and materials for daily production, performs basic troubleshooting, completes production documentation and data entry, and communicates production issues to leadership. The position also supports safety, 5S activities, daily management meetings, and coordination with Maintenance and other departments.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Verify machines are correctly set up for production runs using documented setup procedures.
Verify the correct quantity of resin bags has been added to mixing tanks to produce gel substance.
Verify all materials needed to produce daily orders have been located.
Perform basic troubleshooting of machines and palletizers when they malfunction.
Complete necessary paperwork and submit it to the supervisor.
Enter data accurately into the computer system for reports.
Collaborate with Maintenance on machine functions and troubleshooting processes.
Participate in Daily Management meetings.
Maintain and improve 5S activities.
Communicate production issues to leadership during the shift.
Ensure team members adhere to all EFP, LLC safety rules and policies.
Perform other duties assigned by leadership, including assisting other departments when instructed.
