About The Position

EFP is hiring a General Production – Packer/Tender for its manufacturing plant in Casa Grande, Arizona. Production experience is not required; the opportunity may suit people with food service or retail experience, or those looking to change careers. The role involves performing packer duties, inspecting product quality, and packaging products according to established work instructions.

Requirements

• Basic math skills, including counting, adding, and subtracting.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble parts.
• Ability to lift, carry, and push up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to pull up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and stoop frequently.

Responsibilities

• Remove finished parts from machines.
• Maintain and follow machinery operating procedures.
• Inspect parts for quality, including fill, fusion, and post-expansion.
• Identify the proper packaging container and ensure it is properly labeled.
• Maintain accurate counts per container.
• Perform plant clean-up operations.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Participate in required 5S/PPS activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
