About The Position

The General Merchandise Team Member is an entry-level retail position responsible for delivering remarkable customer service through product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The role involves a variety of tasks related to products, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising, as well as collaborating with team members and managers on additional tasks as needed. This position may support Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral departments. Responsibilities

Build rapport with customers.

Answer customer questions or direct customers to another team member who can help.
Stock products and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
Use technology to complete activities and tasks.
Complete retail tasks related to product, customer service, pricing, inventory, and merchandising.
Collaborate with other team members and managers on additional tasks as needed.
