About The Position

The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also involves delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers.

The position requires accurate and quick basic arithmetic, making correct monetary change, processing orders by phone and in person, entering orders using a keyboard or touchscreen, and communicating with customers and co-workers. Delivery duties require map-reading and navigation skills, locating addresses in the designated delivery area, and navigating varied terrain while carrying products.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders by phone and in person.
• Map-reading and navigation skills to locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multistory buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
