About The Position

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of a store using a “treat it like you own it” philosophy. Stores operate on a one-shift model and close at 2 p.m. Leaders may start as early as 4 a.m. to bake and open the store. They keep the store audit-ready, ensure catering, mobile, and in-store orders are completed, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. During breakfast and lunch rushes, General Managers work hands-on wherever needed, manage breaks, and support strong customer survey results. After closing, they help close and prepare for the next day, handle administrative work such as scheduling, ordering, and inventory, and take the daily deposit to the bank. The company provides five weeks of training. Successful candidates have restaurant General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience and are hands-on leaders who can motivate and inspire their teams. The role includes recruiting team members and developing internal talent. Prior exposure to P&L analysis is valuable; experience applying strategies to achieve food-cost goals and labor targets is required. The position is based at 4050 Shawnee Mission Pkwy, Roeland Park, Kansas 66205. The stated physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours; these requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
