About The Position

EquipmentShare is hiring a General Manager for its Advanced Solutions rental facility in Haskell, Texas. Advanced Solutions branches provide equipment rentals for fluid solutions, climate control, power generation, compressed air, and site and event services. The General Manager leads the branch team and operations, supporting the company’s mission to improve the construction industry through technology, real-time support, and customer service. EquipmentShare’s proprietary T3 platform provides real-time insights into fleet availability, usage, and performance. The role includes hiring, developing, training, and evaluating employees; managing branch financial performance; monitoring operational and customer metrics; communicating with the team and management; setting measurable goals; and maintaining a safe, compliant workplace. Compensation includes a base salary and participation in the Company Profit Sharing Plan.

Requirements

At least 5 years of rental industry experience, preferably in a management role.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Results-driven mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company.

Nice To Haves

Experience in fluid solutions, climate control, power generation, compressed air, or site services is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Hire, develop, train, and evaluate employees to build an effective branch team and achieve positive results.
Provide employees with guidance, coaching, and documentation when improvement or correction is needed.
Manage branch operations to maximize financial success.
Conduct monthly profit and loss reviews to understand business performance and trends, identify areas for improvement, and find future revenue opportunities.
Monitor equipment utilization, underperforming assets, warranty recovery, billed mechanical hours, aged receivables, and customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with the team and management.
Establish reasonable, measurable goals and clearly defined expectations for team members.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures while complying with legal regulations.
Stay continuously educated on EquipmentShare products and services.
