About The Position

Captain Jay's is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations and foster a culture of excellence. The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the restaurant, including team leadership, financial management, operational standards, and customer satisfaction. Success in this role is defined by achieving excellence across six key pillars: Service, Quality, Speed, Teamwork & Culture, Accountability & Ownership, and Cleanliness & Food Safety. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who builds strong teams and systems to ensure consistent operational success.

Requirements

• Customer service experience.
• Ability to lead in a team environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Passionate, positive attitude.
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Food management experience: 2 years
• Food Service: 1 year

Nice To Haves

• Food management experience (Strongly Preferred)
• High school education or equivalent experience (Preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Hiring, training, coaching, and developing team members and future leaders.
• Creating schedules that balance excellent guest service with labor budgets.
• Driving sales while managing labor, food cost, and profitability.
• Maintaining outstanding operational standards throughout the restaurant.
• Ensuring exceptional customer service and product quality.
• Leading daily operations with consistency, urgency, and professionalism.
• Conducting performance coaching and holding team members accountable by fostering ownership instead of only compliance.
• Developing Shift Managers and building leadership bench strength.
