About The Position

Captain Jay's Fish & Chicken is seeking a General Manager to lead one of their fast-casual food service locations in Metro Detroit. The General Manager is responsible for leading every aspect of the restaurant, focusing on operational excellence across six key pillars: Service, Quality, Speed, Teamwork & Culture, Accountability & Ownership, and Cleanliness & Food Safety. Success in this role involves creating memorable guest experiences, ensuring consistent food quality, driving efficient operations, building a positive team environment, and taking ownership of restaurant results. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who focuses on building strong teams and systems rather than just reacting to problems.

Requirements

• Food management experience (Strongly Preferred).
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to lead in a team environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Passionate, positive attitude.
• High school education or equivalent experience (Preferred).
• Valid Driver's License (Required).
• Food Management: 2 years
• Food Service: 1 year
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
