About The Position

As a General Manager at YouFit Gyms, you lead the club and drive its success. You oversee club operations to deliver an outstanding member experience, strong financial performance, and a well-developed team. You foster a positive, high-energy, results-driven environment that prioritizes customer service and operational excellence. You are responsible for staff development, membership growth, and implementing corporate initiatives to meet and exceed company goals. You ensure smooth day-to-day operations and revenue growth while maintaining a profitable, well-run facility. The compensation package is described as competitive in the industry and typically includes base pay, with opportunities for additional earnings through commissions and/or bonuses.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Proficient in reading, speaking, and writing in English.
Available to work Monday through Friday, with flexibility for business needs.
At least 1 year of experience in a management or leadership role within fitness, hospitality, sales, or customer service.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage a high-performing team while fostering a positive work culture.
Experience overseeing gym operations, including staffing, inventory, and expense management.
Ability to drive sales, membership growth, and personal training performance to achieve revenue goals.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and KPI tracking.
Ability to collaborate with corporate leadership, execute company-wide initiatives, and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Monitor performance metrics and provide coaching and feedback to improve sales, service, and operations.
Ensure compliance with YouFit policies, including membership check-ins, personal training guidelines, and operational procedures.
Manage daily financial operations, including money reconciliation, deposits, and expense tracking.
Maintain gym cleanliness and safety, oversee facility maintenance, and ensure staff follow cleaning protocols.
Create and manage staff schedules to meet business needs and optimize labor costs.
Use CRM and member engagement tools to support retention, revenue growth, and member experience.
Collaborate with corporate teams and implement company-wide initiatives to support business objectives and continuous improvement.
