About The Position

Jeff’s Bagel Run is seeking a dynamic, people-first General Manager to lead its Gainesville location. The General Manager oversees daily restaurant operations, leads and develops the team, and ensures guests receive a warm, consistent experience. This is a hands-on, working-manager role that balances operational execution, team leadership, hospitality, and local community engagement.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations and meet KPIs, sales goals, and profitability targets.
Lead, coach, hire, and inspire team members to provide excellent hospitality and consistent results.
Manage inventory, purchasing, receiving, and vendor relationships.
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.
Use guest feedback to improve operations and encourage repeat visits.
Communicate proactively with the Operating Manager.
Uphold company policies and accurately manage cash, comps, discounts, and reporting.
Create a positive, high-energy work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.
Build community connections and identify opportunities to grow the business locally.
Make sound, timely decisions in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
Ensure ambience, service, and food quality meet company standards.
Work alongside the team and support service, operations, and team success wherever needed.
