About The Position

The General Manager oversees the overall performance of a Leslie’s store, ensuring it meets or exceeds customer service standards, sales goals, profitability targets, operating procedures, and merchandising objectives. The role drives sales growth while managing profit margins, payroll, and other controllable expenses. The General Manager ensures company programs and initiatives are executed successfully and creates a positive, customer-focused store environment. The position recruits, hires, trains, and develops team members, sets clear expectations for exceptional customer service, and leads by example to foster a great place to work.

Requirements

Successfully complete all training modules, including GMIT and Talent Platform training.
Ability to achieve placement in the succession program.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency with computers.

Responsibilities

Hire high-performing team members to support store objectives.
Meet or exceed the sales budget.
Meet or exceed EBITDA/SOC goals.
Meet or exceed labor rate goals.
Achieve a shrink percentage of 0.4% or better.
Meet or exceed the fiscal-year gross margin budget.
Meet or exceed the APC goal.
Increase customer count over the prior year.
Meet or exceed the Mystery Shop goal of 95%.
Oversee store performance, customer service, profitability, operating procedures, and merchandising objectives.
Manage profit margins, payroll, and other controllable expenses.
Execute company programs and initiatives.
Recruit, hire, train, and develop team members.
Set clear expectations for customer service and foster a positive workplace.
