About The Position

The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also includes delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers.

The position requires accurate, quick basic arithmetic and the ability to make correct monetary change. It also requires motor coordination for precise movements, keyboard or touchscreen order entry, comprehension of written instructions, and clear verbal, written, and telephone communication with customers and coworkers. Delivery duties require map-reading and address-finding skills, as well as the ability to navigate varied terrain, including multistory buildings and private homes, while carrying products.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.

• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate varied terrain, including multistory buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
