About The Position

The Delivery Driver operates equipment, stocks ingredients, prepares products, receives and processes telephone orders, takes inventory, completes associated paperwork, and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also delivers products to customers and distributes flyers and door hangers. Drivers must navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area and carry products across varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, potentially using a calculator.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and over the phone.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.
