About The Position

The General Manager provides executive leadership for all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring compliance with Hyatt Regency brand standards and Desert Hospitality Management (DHM) policies while delivering exceptional guest experiences, financial performance, team member engagement, and owner satisfaction. This role is for a candidate ready for the challenge of opening a new hotel (Hyatt Brand).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 8–10+ years progressive hotel leadership.
• Previous General Manager experience in a Hyatt Regency or comparable full-service upscale hotel preferred.
• Strong financial acumen, budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and labor management skills.
• Alcohol awareness and food safety certification as required by state and federal laws.
• Valid driver’s license from appropriate state and MVR in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Lead all hotel departments including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Revenue Management, Finance, Human Resources, Security, and Events.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, DHM SOPs, and all applicable laws.
• Drive RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, GOP, EBITDA, guest satisfaction, and associate engagement.
• Develop department leaders through coaching, succession planning, and accountability.
• Maintain strong relationships with ownership, Hyatt, community partners, and DHM leadership.
• Champion a culture of safety, inclusion, ethics, and service excellence.
