About The Position
The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory; and completes related paperwork. The role also involves cleaning equipment and the facility approximately daily. The position requires the ability to handle monetary transactions, communicate with customers and coworkers, enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and follow written instructions. Duties include delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. Delivery requires map-reading and navigation skills and the ability to traverse varied terrain, including multistory buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products. Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, with a calculator if needed.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Ability to understand and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
- Map-reading and navigation skills to locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Ability to navigate varied terrain, including multistory buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
