About The Position

Join our team as a General Manager for a new hotel opening late 2026! Exciting things are coming to Quorum Hospitality with a new hotel scheduled to open toward the end of 2026! We are seeking an experienced General Manager to help lead the property through its opening and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to join a project in the early, pre-opening phase, where your leadership will help shape the vision, culture, and long-term success of an exceptional hotel. As General Manager, your impact will go beyond day-to-day operations. You’ll be instrumental in building a high-performing team, delivering memorable guest experiences, and establishing operational excellence from the ground up. The hotel, currently named Eddy Redondo Beach, will be launched as part of a major soft brand collection, with more details to be shared as we move closer to opening.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in hotel operations.
  • Leadership experience required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Financial acumen including budgeting and P&L management.
  • Must be proficient with Windows operating systems.

Nice To Haves

  • A 2 to 4-year college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across all departments to ensure seamless service which results in high guest satisfaction survey scores.
  • Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and cost control.
  • Participate in the sales effort by meeting on-site contacts for functions, greeting important clients, and participating in sales calls.
  • Generate and prepare budgets and financial reports as required for corporate and ownership groups.
  • Participate in ownership calls to review budget and P&Ls.
  • Ensure compliance with all brand and corporate standards.
  • Handle guest concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Manage and mentor department leaders and team members.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of hotel staff.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain quality and safety.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and deep cleaning programs.
  • Partner with Accounting on AR/AP, payroll, month end, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
