About The Position

The General Manager II at DHL Supply Chain oversees warehouse operations and develops and implements strategic processes to optimize performance. Requirements

• At least 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supply chain, warehousing, or distribution environment.
• Staff management experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) and/or Contract Logistics.
• P&L management experience.
• Project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead, coach, guide, and support Operations Managers and staff while developing a strong team culture.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee facility operational and personnel activities to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
• Use warehouse management systems, automation, and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies while managing the site in accordance with the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain close daily contact with customers to build strong relationships and support customer satisfaction.
• Manage the site's profit and loss, which is directly influenced by customer relationships.
• Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to customers, leveraging team collaboration.
