About The Position

The General Manager, Delivery Operations owns the complete delivery outcome for Odeko’s Moonachie, New Jersey warehouse across Day and Night shifts. The role leads through the Day and Night Delivery Assistant General Managers (AGMs), owns site-wide driver safety and training strategy, leads major delivery initiatives, and represents the site in network-level delivery discussions. The GM models servant leadership that enables AGMs to own their shifts, backs up the Senior General Manager when needed, and shares responsibility for delivering OPEX and EBITDA targets. The operation is primarily at night, and this role’s schedule will also be primarily at night. The role directly owns the driver safety and training function, with Trainers reporting to it, and partners with HR, Safety, Fleet, and other teams to improve training, compliance, and incident-reduction programs. It owns the delivery scorecard across shifts; staffing plans and overtime management within approved budgets; the site Food Safety program; routing standards and optimization; and continuous improvement for delivery operations. The GM leads cross-functional projects from planning through execution, communicates performance and escalations, and provides coverage for critical delivery leadership and operational tasks. The position reports to the Senior General Manager. Direct reports are the AGM, Day Delivery Operations; AGM, Night Delivery Operations; and Trainers. Travel is required as needed.
