About The Position
Career Developers Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join its high-performing litigation team. The role involves defending complex cases in general liability, premises liability, personal injury, tort claims, and other areas. It offers a collaborative, dynamic environment, client-focused work, professional growth, and exposure to a broad range of legal matters. The position is full-time with a hybrid schedule in the NYC, Long Island, or Westchester Park area. The stated base salary range is $130,000–$190,000.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice in New York.
- Three to seven years of litigation experience, including general liability, personal injury, premises liability, and insurance defense.
- Ability to integrate into a fast, team-oriented environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in trucking-related litigation, construction/labor law, and/or transportation matters is highly preferred.
- Legal project management experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from beginning to end.
- Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects.
- Handle court appearances and depositions regularly.
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
