About The Position

Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice in the Highland, Indiana office. The practice includes more than 600 attorneys nationwide and represents businesses and individuals, including insured and self-insured clients, in property and personal injury claims. The team handles a wide range of general liability matters, with particular strength in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation. Its attorneys include experienced trial lawyers and have received notable recognition for defense verdicts. The role is suited to an attorney with strong research and writing skills and experience in insurance defense litigation. The firm is also interested in developing talented attorneys with substantive litigation experience in other areas. Requirements

Admission to the Indiana Bar is required.
Strong research and writing skills.
Two to seven years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials.

Insurance defense experience is preferred; attorneys with substantive litigation experience in another area are also encouraged to apply.
