About The Position

The Nashville, Tennessee office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking an attorney to join its General Liability Practice. The practice represents insured and self-insured businesses and individuals in property and personal injury claims, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex litigation. The team includes more than 600 attorneys nationwide and has experience in litigation and trial work, including significant-exposure cases. The role involves insurance defense litigation across its phases, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Candidates with substantive litigation experience and strong writing skills are welcome, including developing attorneys from other litigation areas. Construction litigation and transportation matters involving heavy trucking, tractor trailers, cargo, or freight carriers are advantageous. Requirements

Admission to the Tennessee Bar is required.
At least 2 to 7 years of experience in all phases of insurance defense litigation.
Strong research and writing skills.
Substantive litigation experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience defending construction litigation cases.
Experience with transportation cases involving heavy trucking, tractor trailers, cargo, or freight carriers.
Insurance defense experience.
