About The Position

We are seeking an experienced General Liability Claims Adjuster to manage a caseload of general liability claims from inception through resolution. The role handles bodily injury, property damage, premises liability, and product liability claims, including complex, litigated, and high-exposure losses. The adjuster investigates claims, evaluates coverage and liability, assesses damages, collaborates with involved parties and counsel, maintains reserves and documentation, and negotiates settlements within designated authority levels. The position requires knowledge of commercial insurance policies, coverage analysis, liability investigations, and litigation management, as well as the ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload. The work may involve exposure to loud sounds or distracting noise from office equipment, lifting up to 30 pounds, and using computers and technology. Requirements

At least 5 years of experience handling General Liability claims.
Strong knowledge of bodily injury, property damage, premises liability, and litigation management.
Familiarity with commercial insurance policies, coverage analysis, and liability investigations.
Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.

Nice To Haves

Experience handling complex and high-exposure claims.
Active adjuster licenses, depending on jurisdiction.
Experience working with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) or insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

Manage general liability claims, including bodily injury, property damage, premises liability, and product liability.
Investigate claims, evaluate coverage, determine liability, and assess damages.
Handle complex and litigated claims, including high-exposure losses.
Work with defense counsel, insureds, claimants, and other involved parties.
Review medical records, legal documentation, and investigative reports to determine appropriate claim resolutions.
Establish and maintain accurate reserves throughout the claims process.
Negotiate settlements within designated authority levels.
Monitor litigation strategies, legal expenses, and case developments.
Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company guidelines.
