About The Position
This position is responsible for various general production labor tasks within the Berry Street Facility on the 1st Shift. The role involves understanding and adhering to safety rules, performing physically demanding tasks, and working in challenging environmental conditions. Positions rotate throughout the department, and employees must be available for overtime and weekend work as needed. Some roles may involve cutting meat using knives or scissors. Requirements
- Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules
- Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions
- Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments, reach above shoulder level
- Must be able to perform the duties of the position
- Be willing to stand 8- 10 hours a day
- Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard
- Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed
- Must have good hand/eye coordination
- Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from the work areas when needed
- Must be available to work overtime, and weekends as needed
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

- Rotate through positions within the department
- Be available to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Potentially cut meat away from the bone using knives or scissors
- Complete background checks if required for the position
- Complete post-application tasks to provide additional information
