Willingness to work in any processing department and/or any available shift. Requirements

  • Willingness to work in a very cold environment.
  • Willingness to go up and down stairs.
  • Willingness to use scissors and knives to cut chicken.
  • Must be able to tolerate motion and work on a fast-moving processing line.
  • Willingness to work on a stand two (2) feet above floor level.
  • Willingness to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach.
  • Lifting is done in many areas (weight depends on area.)
  • These positions work in a cold, damp, or hot, humid environment, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces.
  • Willing to walk up and down stairs as some departments are located on the lower level.
  • Willingness to stand on and work on a platform that is about two feet above floor level.
  • All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history.
  • This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times.
  • This facility accepts rehires after 180 days.
  • Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
