About The Position

The Saw Attendant position involves working on a cone line conveyor system where the team member grasps the right wing of a piece, positions it, and makes specific cuts to separate breast meat from the shell. This includes inserting a knife into the right shoulder joint, cutting along the pully bone and down the right side of the scapula bone, and then pulling the right wing down. The process is repeated for the left wing after rotating the front half counterclockwise, inserting the knife into the left shoulder joint, and cutting along the pully bone and down the left side of the scapula. This role is for the 2nd shift at the New Holland Plant in PA.

Requirements

Must provide government identification number for system verification of previous Tyson employment history.
Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times will not be accepted.
Accepts rehires after 180 days, but Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal.
Hourly applicants must complete a task after submitting their application to provide additional information.
Must be able to perform the specific cutting and positioning tasks described for the Saw Attendant role.
