About The Position

Tyson Foods New Holland Complex is accepting applications for general labor positions. This role involves working in various processing departments and requires a willingness to work any available shift. The job entails performing general production tasks in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be able to work in a very cold environment, go up and down stairs, use scissors and knives to cut chicken, and tolerate motion on a fast-moving processing line. The position also requires standing on a platform two feet above floor level and performing tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Lifting is required in many areas, with the weight depending on the specific department. The work environment can be cold, damp, or hot and humid, with potentially slippery walking surfaces.
