About The Position

General labor openings are available throughout the company’s facilities. Previous manufacturing experience is not required; candidates should have a strong work ethic and be able to work in a team environment. Work assignments may include mixing products, weighing or scaling materials, packaging materials, or supplying production lines. Employees must be reliable and follow industry-standard Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Some GMP requirements vary by location; for example, artificial nails or eyelashes, nail polish, and jewelry may not be permitted when producing or packaging food products.

The work takes place in a manufacturing environment with exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures. Employees work as part of a team and must communicate respectfully and professionally. Overtime and work across shifts may be necessary based on staffing needs and customer demand.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be knowledgeable about GMPs or willing to learn.
• Must have sufficient math skills.
• Must be able to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Must be able to stand and work with hands throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work necessary overtime and across shifts based on staffing needs and customer demand.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality and signs of foreign-material contamination.
• Supply production lines as needed.
• Place products correctly on production lines or in containers, boxes, or pallets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and safety policies and procedures.
