About The Position

The General Labor employee works in a manufacturing facility and may operate or learn to operate a variety of machinery, including forklift equipment. The role involves following directions under limited supervision, learning manufacturing principles and practices, performing basic math and reading a tape measure, lifting and loading materials, following safety and operational procedures, and communicating with coworkers. Employees in this position are subject to periodic training assessed through internal audits. Applicants must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check. The position is identified as second shift and requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, based on business needs.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• Experience and/or willingness and ability to operate and/or learn a variety of machinery, including forklift equipment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and read a tape measure.
• Ability to lift and load materials.
• Ability to follow directions under limited supervision and comply with safety and operational procedures.
• Must successfully pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, based on business needs.
• Exemplary safety performance, good performance/work history, excellent attendance, and excellent organizational skills.
• Standards of performance, stability, dependability, and honesty are assessed.
