About The Position
The Operations Manager leads the team responsible for receiving merchandise, stocking it, moving it to the sales floor, and merchandising it according to planograms, promotions, and company standards. The role partners with the Store Manager and other management team members to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals while fostering a culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect. The position includes responsibility for staffing, hiring, and training operations associates; shipping and receiving; warehouse organization and stocking; facility maintenance; loss prevention and safety; inventory and cash management; and business reporting. The Operations Manager also conducts weekly signage and pricing audits, supports sales as acting manager in charge when needed, and opens and closes the store.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in retail or a warehouse setting.
- Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the Store Manager and management team to achieve EBITDA, sales, and margin goals.
- Ensure appropriate department staffing, including hiring and training operations associates.
- Assist in training operations associates at all levels.
- Ship and receive gear and other store-related items.
- Organize and stock the warehouse and maintain the facility.
- Oversee loss prevention and safety, inventory management, cash management, and business reporting.
- Conduct weekly standardized signage and pricing audits and ensure merchandise meets planogram standards, including POP, SKU, and inventory integrity audits.
- Drive sales by acting as manager in charge when necessary.
- Open and close the store.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
