About The Position

The Gatekeeper ensures that all steps in the order process are followed and that errors are corrected so orders move through the system both physically and systematically. The role verifies order information, pallets, and boxes, researches and resolves errors, and supports other areas of the distribution center cell as needed. The work environment is production-based.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to perform work according to instructions and within a reasonable time.
• At least one year of distribution center or quality experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods while inspecting tools.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds occasionally.
• Frequent bending and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand order information and work instructions.
• Know and use distribution center systems.
• Verify incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy.
• Verify that pallets and boxes match High Jump reports.
• Research and correct order and box errors.
• Identify and correct problem scans.
• Identify and isolate errors and communicate resolutions.
• Assist in other cell areas as needed, including material handling, stocking, and packing.
• Practice 5S and follow safety practices.
• Respond effectively to change and perform other assigned tasks.
