About The Position

Responsible for the daily operation of the gas station, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining equipment, assisting members with transactions and payments, and complying with safety, environmental, and security standards. The role also involves cash handling, fuel delivery preparation, reporting and checklist procedures, responding to spills and alarms, and maintaining the cleanliness of the station. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Team members may perform other duties and work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to complete all required training.
• Previous gas station operating experience preferred.
• Experience operating a cash register preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and promptly assist members.
• Protect people, property, and the environment while assisting with gas station transactions.
• Monitor sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Monitor gas station reporting, ensure reports are generated, complete checklist procedures, and document and address issues.
• Accurately perform opening and closing procedures.
• Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
• Oversee fuel deliveries and perform required preparation procedures.
• Follow gas station safety, security, and environmental standards, and notify management and the help desk when alarms are present.
• Perform cash drawer procedures, including deposits, verification, documentation, and control.
• Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted prices and signage match prices in the POS system.
• Follow spill bucket and spilled-material procedures, including immediate response and cleanup.
• Log visitors and verify proper identification before allowing access to the kiosk area.
• Notify the corporate office of non-routine maintenance vendor visits, including visits by inspectors and state employees.
• Follow club policies and procedures and support compliance.
• Perform other assigned duties, including working in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
