Gas Station Part Time
About The Position
Responsible for the daily operation of the gas station, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining equipment, assisting members with transactions and payments, and complying with safety, environmental, and security standards. The role also involves handling cash and deposits, monitoring reports, overseeing fuel deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, conducting price surveys, and following spill-response procedures. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function. Availability is needed from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to complete all required training.
- Previous gas station operating experience preferred.
- Experience operating a cash register preferred.
- Able to work the required availability of 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional member service and promptly assist members with gas station transactions while ensuring the safety of people, property, and the environment.
- Monitor gas station sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness and perform custodial duties as needed.
- Monitor gas station reporting, generate reports, complete checklist procedures, and document and address identified issues.
- Accurately perform opening and closing procedures.
- Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
- Oversee fuel deliveries and perform required preparation procedures.
- Follow gas station safety, security, and environmental standards, and inform management and the help desk when alarms are present.
- Perform cash drawer procedures, including cash deposits, verification, documentation, and control procedures.
- Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted prices and signage match prices in the POS system.
- Follow spill bucket and spilled-material procedures, including immediate response and cleanup.
- Log visitors and verify identification before allowing entry to the kiosk; notify the corporate office of non-routine maintenance vendor visits.
- Maintain club policies and procedures, and perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
- Support club policies, procedures, and compliance; act with honesty and integrity; promote a safe, inclusive, and positive environment; and collaborate to achieve goals.
- Deliver service excellence, address member concerns, and follow GOLD Member Standards.
- Work as a team to maintain club standards, including stocking items, executing promotional plans, keeping signage accurate, and maintaining clean and organized areas.
- Access and read departmental production or financial reporting and understand how consistent execution affects the business.
